H e l l o!
Up on the blog this week, often regarded as precious and girly, I'm talking pink. Pink has a hard time proving itself as a serious contender when it comes to interior design for the home. Times are changing, however, and everything from fashion to fine dining is shifting to a rosier outlook. Color psychology assigns pink to feelings of comfort and warmth and it has been proven that the color can have a calming effect on the nervous system particularly the dusty, paler or more natural tones. This makes it an ideal color for use in interiors, particularly in bedrooms and living rooms where we want to be at our most relaxed.

Pink can be a neutral
I love when pink is used as a neutral. Soft pink is a more interesting alternative to beige and can be a nice complement to artwork and other materials. A less saturated hue of pink, tinted with white, can achieve this quality.

Dusty Pink
For pink perfection opt for soft pastels in dusky tones. To keep the look sophisticated and modern, team with darker colors like khaki green, dark blue and charcoal grey.

Pink Impact
Gone are the floral and “girly” patterns associated with this color. Pink can create an assertive and impactful space. This successful restaurant space was designed with just a hint of pink and is wonderfully put together.

Tile in Pink
If you want a combination of stunningly simple pattern, a honeycomb tile design, and a richly unique shade then look no further. This Pink Hex tile uses the fan-design of a lily-pad leaf and introduces it to the geometric design of a hexagonal tile. The interlocking tiles create their own unique effect, but the soft pink adds the effect of a personalized color palette.

Pink is the best color in the world. Always has been, always will be. And it's even dreamier and more Instagram-worthy when in the form of marble. Now this is how you make a statement in the bathroom.
Enter with Pink
Paint your entry door pint and it will make such a chic, feminine, and tranquil statement.

Put on your rose-colored glasses and rethink the way you see pink. It is difficult to push pink from your consciousness after you see it done so successfully. Are you ready to use pink in your interior?
