H e l l o!
The holidays are an excellent time to bust out your favorite family recipes and also the perfect time to try new holiday favorites! Every year my sisters and I get together for a cookie baking day. Today I thought I'd share some of our favorite holiday recipes. I know you’re going to find something special here to try this holiday season!
CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIES
Fudgy Chocolate Crinkle Cookies have an irresistible brownie textured center, with a crunch of cookie on the outside! One of our favorite Christmas cookies right here!
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS
Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls with Rice Krispies are just like your favorite Peanut Butter Balls but with a crispy filling thanks to the rice krispies. This delicious candy is great for the holidays and cookie trays! Truly, the perfect combination of sweet and salty. A must make for Christmas!
LEMON GOOEY BUTTER COOKIES
These are a definite favorite with my family. We can never seem to make enough of them. They are moist, thick and so easy to make! Whip up a batch from scratch or grab a box of cake mix. These taste amazing both ways!
COCONUT MACAROONS
Coconut macaroons are soft, chewy and full of coconut flavor. These delicious cookies are golden, light, and chewy! If you like coconut, you will love these.
PEANUT BUTTER BLOSSOMS
Our mother used to make these when we were kids and we have continue the tradition. They are still one of my favorites. Christmas just isn’t Christmas without these—they’re the most wonderful cookie of the year!
CLASSIC CHOCOLATE CHIP
Chocolate Chip Cookies have everything a cookie connoisseur could possibly ask for. With a texture that is slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, Betty Crocker has a favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe that’s been top-rated by hundreds of satisfied home cooks.
MAGIC BARS
A buttery graham cracker crust is topped with layers of chocolate chips, coconut, chopped nuts, raspberry jam and then finished off with a blanket of sweetened condensed milk. These will not last long! We leave the making of these bars to our mother. She makes them the best!
OATMEAL RAISIN
What would the holidays be without this classic? Soft and chewy with that trademark homemade flavor, these are the best soft and chewy oatmeal raisin cookies. Made with brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, chewy oats, AND sweet raisins. Your family will love these easy oatmeal raisin cookies!
Cookies are pretty much the best part of Christmas, right? Whether you're making them for a party, Santa, or just a cozy night in by the fireplace, there's always a reason to whip up a batch of cookies during the holidays. I hope you found something that you love in this blog post. Let me know if you make any of these this season.
