H e l l o!
Up on the blog today, I'm pointing out the fact that there are only five more weeks until Labor Day. Noooo. Don't you feel like Summer is a tropical escape without leaving home? If not, you may need to modify the interior design of your space. Here are some of my tips for you.
Sunrise, Sunset
Endless Summer features a bold, cheerful, saturated color palette that suggests year-round summertime. Juicy, radiant colors are inspired by a glowing sunrise or sunset. Inside and out, the interior of your home will begin to look more like destination travel that will provide a mental break.

Refreshing
These bold and sunny colors are combined with cooling effects of blue, lending the mind to think of taking a dip in a swimming pool on a hot summer day.

Palm
Incorporating palm motifs through wallpaper or other applications will exude a year-round tropical vibe that cannot be ignored.

Tiki Bar
Endless Summer means piña coladas every day, served from your very own tiki bar. Sitting in a beach bar sipping a cocktail and listening to lilting tropical music is many people’s idea of paradise, and even if you aren’t lucky enough to live next to a sun kissed beach, at least you may have chance to head to one for a vacation from time to time. However, it isn’t always possible, so if you want to enjoy the charms of the tropics without leaving your home, you can build your own tiki bar, put on some music and just imagine you’re there instead.

Blend Indoor and Outdoor Spaces
I am all about the indoor/outdoor vibe. In fact, luxurious outdoor spaces that are fully equipped to host a party are my favorite. Enjoying the benefits of vitamin D is key to this trend. Keep in mind that the design of your outdoor space is just as important as the design of your home interior. The interior design style of your outdoor living space should complement the design style of your home’s interior AND architecture, in order to create a feeling of continuity between the interiors and exteriors.
The Tropics
Tropical inspired interior design packs an instant vacation-vibes punch in a room. This look is simple to obtain. You can start with incorporating bright “happy” colors, from sunny yellows to emerald greens, with throw pillows, vases, and rugs. But the bolder approach is to incorporate island greenery and motifs via wallpaper and prints. Think, “tropical trees, pineapple motifs, and leaves of all kinds.
